Munich, Bavaria, November 30, 2011 — In spite of Pension Westfalia‘s central location, the setting is quiet; in fact it is just a stone’s throw from the Theresienwiese, a large open space in Munich’s Ludwigsvorstadt-Isarvorstadt borough that once served as the city’s exhibition grounds and was bustling with activity throughout the year. Now this public park is a tranquil destination, except during the Oktoberfest season in the fall. Access to the B&B is convenient: the nearest subway stop is just a two minutes’ walk away. From the Goetheplatz subway station, the ride to Marienplatz is just four minutes (two stops). An additional subway station is five minutes away by foot and it connects directly with the main railway station (Hauptbahnhof).

If you take a train from the Hauptbahnhof, it is just a 20-minute ride to the new exhibition grounds (Neue Messe Mnchen). We have an array of uniquely designed rooms to meet your specific needs: from single rooms to family rooms. Almost all of Pension Westfalia’s rooms are furnished with TV, telephone and blowdryer. There is an elevator to ensure you and your luggage arrive comfortably in your room. We invite you to use the Internet PC in our lobby free of charge and to choose from our complimentary assortment of city maps and Munich tourism brochures to learn about sightseeing tours, attractions, restaurants and events. Our hotel has been built in a former mansion and its rooms feature much higher ceilings than in modern constructions, which gives you a genuine taste of old-style living. But don’t be fooled by its historic appeal: all the rooms have been fully renovated to perfect condition and have wireless Internet access.
