Author Imagines Parallel Earth of the Future and the Nefarious Scandal That Could Bring it All Down

In this parallel world, a private intelligence organization created a device known as the Chronosphere, which allows individuals to cross the boundaries of time and space. Using the information a woman capable of seeing into the past provided, a retrieval team travels through the Chronosphere in order to locate new recruits. Unfortunately, the facility falls under attack, and the team is barely able to make it back with the new recruits; however, the device is toast by this point, leaving them cut off from other times and locations other than Earth.
Soon, the recruits are transferred to a different facility where they are taught about Earth history, the history of the organization, military and espionage tactics and living in the modern world. Strangely, there is a special emphasis on a collection of rare crystals that are rumored to contain terrible powers. Turns out that if the stones are ever brought back together, a hellish nightmare will be unleashed. Later, while carrying out their assignments, the recruits uncover a shocking conspiracy involving mass genocide and an apocalypse that could mean the end.
What will these recruits find in the jungles of Peru and the streets of Chicago? What valuable secrets does the organization hide? Will these four individuals from different worlds come together to stop this global catastrophe? Find out in the thrilling conclusion of Mischler’s “The Manifest Destiny,” a book that tests the morality of “human” civil rights and scientific exploration. As Armageddon looms, villains will rise, cities will fall, and relationships will be tested as this sinister, mysterious and evil agenda unfolds.
