Toyota Will Continue to Offer An Advanced Teen Driving Skills Program

Carson, Calif., February 18, 2011 — February 14, 2011 – Carson, Calif. – Carson Toyota confirms, Toyota is continuing its free national advanced teen driving skills program, Toyota Driving Expectations.

Toyota believes continuing the program will reducing teen driving fatalities, while educating teens and parents about the dangers of distracted driving.

“Safety has been Toyota’s top priority,” said Carson Toyota’s General Manager, Marty Brylski, “We are glad we are able to give back to Toyota owners by offering them a free safety program,” he said.

The program will offer the opportunity to learn defensive driving skills and accident avoidance techniques. It will also help identify the dangerous driving situations that they encounter daily. It will also allow teens to experience firsthand the dangers of distracted driving and understand the relationship between distraction and reaction time. The program will also allow the driver to understand vehicle dynamics and safety features.

A parent or guardian is required to attend the Toyota Driving Expectations program, parents learn the best practices to promote responsible driving habits with their teen drivers, providing them with tips about how to continue improving driving skills at home.
