Everyone thinks Google is super successful at everything they touch. But Google has it’s share of flops.
Will this new Google Nexus 7 tablet be a hit or not is the question.
Google Android is very successful on the smart phone side of the market, but on the tablet side it has been very weak.
Apple iPad is the top players in this space so far.
I think tablets will continue to grow in importance and eventually other makers will pry their way into Apples tab world.
Will this Google Nexus 7 tablet be one of those success stories or not. That is the question.
What does this tablet compete with, the Apple iPad, or the Amazon.com Kindle and Barnes & Noble Nook?
On price alone, its the Kindle and Nook. Considering the new Jelly Bean software it could be more like iPad.
How good and innovative is this new Jelly Bean software? Will it help Google carve out a place in this space or not?
Whether this is a big winner or not we see Google continuing to jump into this tablet space until they are. Eventually they will be successful.
Will it be this time, is the question.
We knew when Google acquired Motorola Mobility that the intensity would be turned up. It will be interesting to see if that matters with this version or not.
This tablet will cost less than the Apple iPad. That gives it a low cost edge. However Apple sells plenty at the highest price. So there is value there.
Does Google have value in this space yet? I have not really seen it yet, but it’s just a matter of time I believe.
The big question with this launch, is this the one? We’ll see.
