As we get closer to the release of the next iPhone we are getting bit’s and pieces of information.
The next Apple iPhone should have a thinner and better screen. Will it also be larger? We don’t know yet.
Is this what customers want? Many have said they do want a thinner screen. Others are happy as is.
This is for competitive reasons. Samsung and others have very good devices on the market right now, and they are thin and light compared to the iPhone.
Would it be better if there was a couple different versions? Yes and no. Yes to satisfy customers. No because it would reduce the enticement of the device. So for better or worse, there will only be one design.
Apple does not let information out before hand so this is unconfirmed.
One of the best things the new device could have is a replaceable battery. How often does your iPhone go dead before the end of the day? Customers have struggled with this for years. You can change batteries on almost every device except the iPhone.
