C Spire Wireless is the number four wireless provider in the United States that offers the Apple iPhone along with AT&T Mobility, Verizon Wireless and Sprint Nextel.

Today C Spire had a conference call with a major announcement that the media has been waiting to hear about.

It is about the launch of their 4G LTE network services.

Here are a few comments on this announcement.

It sounds like C Spire will bring this brand new 4G LTE technology to markets within their southeast region which do not yet have such service from any other provider.

This is great news for cities within the southeast region who have heard about 4G, who want 4G, but who just can’t get 4G yet.

Many customers in many areas hear about 4G LTE, but they cannot get it yet. This has created a pent up demand.

C Spire also said they will hold a monthly conference call like this one to continue to update the marketplace on their progress.

A call like this will be held in a few months discussing the new 4G handsets. They were not addressed during today’s call.

C Spire says there will not be an additional cost to customers who move up to the 4G networks other than purchasing a 4G handset.

This sounds like the kind of news that users in the C Spire region have been waiting for.
