Blessings of Hope

Started in 2006, Blessings of Hope empowers ministries, organizations, and individuals to reach the less fortunate within the community through food and acts of loving kindness. With over 1,800 registered volunteers, Blessings of Hope serves approximately 25,000 meals per day to those in need throughout the northeast United States. Blessings of Hope at a Glance -We receive food from approximately 80 sources -We have 150 ministry partners who receive food from us weekly or on a periodic basis -We serve approximately 14,000 meals per day -65% of our operating revenue comes from individual donations -35% of our operating revenue comes from our ministry partners -We’re currently blessed with over 1800 registered volunteers -In 2018, our two major fundraisers netted $105,000 -The vast majority of our food is distributed throughout South Central Pennsylvania As we continue to expand the number of partners and outreach opportunities, our goal is to become a “Bridge of Opportunity,” helping to move people from poverty to a lifestyle that creates contributing, self-sustaining individuals.
