The second edition of the Mahindra Transport Excellence Awards was held at Hotel Ashoka at Delhi on 9th January 2012. The event was a big night for Indian transport industry. With over 2780 entries, over 4000 case studies and 18,000 votes, it was historic. The evaluation was done by Ernst& Young (E& Y) and winners were declared after extensive procedures and rigorous debate among the jury members. Meant for those who have contributed towards bringing change to Indian trucking, these awards recognize and reward Outperformance, Excellence, Innovation and Change Leadership. From mechanic to drivers, from fleet owners to dhaba owners all were felicitated at the event. Agarwal Packers & Movers Ltd received the award for being the National Winner under the Fleet Owner Category and their special contribution towards making of a Driver Seva Kendra at dudhu as a part of the CSR activity and regional award for the best lady transporter 2012.
