About Dan Kellogg Mr. Kellogg is certified as an Elder Law Attorney by the National Elder Law Foundation as part of its Charter Class in 1995*. He is a past member of the national Board of Directors of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys and a Past President of the Washington State Chapter of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys. Mr. Kellogg was the Chair of the NAELA Symposium 2000 which was held in Philadelphia, PA. Mr. Kellogg is an active supporter of the senior community in the South King County area. He sponsors the annual Senior Day picnic in connection with “Renton River Days”, as well as a monthly pro bono legal clinic held at the Renton Senior Center. Mr. Kellogg is a frequent lecturer on topics related to estate planning and elder law. Mr. Kellogg received his B.A. in Sociology from Seattle Pacific University, Seattle, Washington, and his graduate degree (J.D.) from Willamette University, Salem, Oregon. He is admitted to practice before the bars of the following courts: U.S. Supreme Court; Washington State Supreme Court; Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals; Federal District Courts for the Western and Eastern Districts of Washington. He is a member of the American Bar Association, the Christian Legal Society, and the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys. Dan is married. He and his wife, Nancy, have three children. They reside in the Renton area where they are active in the community. Dan is a past Chairman of “Renton River Days.” He is also a member and past President of the Rotary Club of Renton, and is Past President and past member of the Board of Directors of the Renton Community Foundation. *The Supreme Court of the State of Washington does not recognize the certification of specialties in the practice of law.
