Medical Education Resources (MER) is one of the leading providers of high-quality continuing medical education CME accreditation programs with specialty conferences and seminars in beautiful locations targeted to primary care physicians, nurses, pharmacists and other specialists. Medical Education Resources (MER) is a non-profit company located in Littleton, Colorado, a suburb of Denver. The company was incorporated in 1983 and its sole mission is to provide medical education for members of the medical community. MER is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)™. MER is widely-recognized as one of the leading providers of high-quality continuing medical education symposia and educational materials for physicians. MER is also an approved provider of continuing nursing education by the Colorado Nurses Association, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation (ANCC). Additionally, MER is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE) as a provider of continuing pharmacy education. MER sponsors seminars and educational materials on numerous medical topics and holds more than three hundred annual CME programs on both national and international levels. Annually, over 80,000 physicians (primary care physicians and specialists) and more than 10,000 nurses and pharmacists participate in one of our programs. We jointly sponsor and co-sponsor seminars with medical institutions and organizations such as the American Academy of Neurology, the American Heart Association, the National Stroke Association, the National Pain Society, the Endocrine Society, the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, and a number of other national medical organizations. We also work with organizations such as the American Academy of Family Physicians and the American College of Emergency Physicians on program accreditation for their members. Furthermore, we work with renowned physicians from both academia and clinical practice throughout the United States and in several foreign countries. MER currently sponsors seven seminar series for primary care physicians and receives no commercial support for these conferences. The company also sponsors several specialty-oriented conferences.
