The Rise of Control Systems Across Industry
Supervisory control and data acquisition systems, or SCADAs, also known as PLC with remote access are an industrial control system (ICS) and have played a pivotal role in the control of industrial and infrastructure processes that exist in the real world for a number of years. From manufacturing and power generation to water treatment and wind farms, and from military operations to the oil industry, SCADAs are assigned the task of supervision of machinery and industrial processes.
