Three Palm Software Granted Tomosynthesis Patent for Its Mammography Visualization and CAD Technology
Three Palm Software, a leading global supplier of mammography visualization and computer-aided diagnosis software, announced today that that the United States Patent and Trademark Office has granted Three Palm Software a new patent, US Patent 8,184,890. The new patent, which provides a method and system using computer-aided detection (CAD) algorithms to aid diagnosis and visualization of tomosynthesis mammography data, establishes the advanced technology which has been used to build the company’s leading diagnostic workstation for digital mammography and other modalities.
