Founded in 2010 by the Guangzhou-based company Ding Long Group, Royal Tulip Carat is managed by Louvre Hotels & Golden Tulip Hospitality Group since last February 2012. The hotel is a member of the 5-star hotel network of Louvre Hotels & Golden Tulip Hospitality Group. Mr. Herweck who is also well known to be the father of the Shanghai Oktoberfest became the General Manager of the hotel last February 2012. The boutique hotel has 178 rooms and employs 300 people.
