The singer/songwriter is best known for his hit YouTube covers, which have garnered more than 52,000 views, and popular single, “My Everything”, off his successful debut EP of the same name (hitting the top 75 on iTunes’ Christian music chart). By pursuing his passions, staying connected to his local church, and having the drive to make a difference with his gifts, Ryan Proudfoot is a great example for the youth of today. Proudfoot is a newcomer to the music scene but with the release of his full-length album, a music video and a growing fan base, this 24-year old is making his mark. Proudfoot’s story is unique. In 2011 he was one of The University of Texas at San Antonio’s top starting pitchers, achieving success as he competed against some of the nation’s top universities. Today he is achieving new success, writing and performing his music in a variety of venues. With his growing fan base, Proudfoot is in demand to do mainstream-pop covers such as Justin Bieber’s “As Long As You Love Me,” which has over 13,000 views on YouTube. His rendition of One Direction’s “What Makes You Beautiful” and Taylor Swift’s “22” have over 19,000 views, combined. In addition to his popular videos, Proudfoot is most known for his songwriting, which has become an open book into his life. In February 2012 he released his debut EP, “My Everything,” which has over 2,200 singles sold on iTunes alone. When “My Everything” released, it hit number 75 on the Christian albums chart on iTunes.
