Victoria Conservatory of Music

Founded in 1964, the Victoria Conservatory of Music has enriched lives through music by fostering a thriving community of musicians and music lovers who celebrate the teaching, learning and performance of music at all levels. Whether you want to introduce your child to the world of music, you’re a college student preparing for a music career, you’re rekindling a long lost love of an instrument you once played, or as a senior you’re now deciding that the time is right to finally learn guitar, the VCM has the educational experience that’s right for you. We’re very proud to offer classes in a variety of disciplines including piano, strings, brass, wind, voice, jazz, percussion, composition, theory, and music therapy each taught by our highly respected and acclaimed faculty – many of whom are world-renowned performers. Students of the VCM also get to experience the magic of performing on stage to large and small audiences in our two fine performance venues, Alix Goolden Performance Hall and Wood Hall.
