Albuquerque, NM, May 20, 2011Gail Rubin, author of the groundbreaking book, “A Good Goodbye: Funeral Planning for Those Who Don’t Plan to Die”, will be interviewed on the popular “Coping with Caregiving” Internet radio program on Saturday, May 21. Rubin will share upbeat advice on how to get a difficult conversation started.

The show features four healthcare professionals and is broadcast live worldwide 3-4:00 pm Pacific Time, with Rubin’s interview at 3:15 pm PT (4:15 pm MT) segment 2. To listen in, simply click on the correct “On Air Listen Live” button at the top of: http://www.wsRadio.com/CopingWithCaregiving.

Rubin is an event planner who specializes in funerals and memorial services. She brings light to a dark subject and speaks regularly to groups on getting the funeral planning conversation started. She’s a breast cancer survivor and a member of the Association for Death Education and Counseling.

As the author of “Matchings, Hatchings and Dispatchings,” an Albuquerque Tribune column on life cycle events, she found that the columns on death elicited the greatest reader response, indicating a pressing need for information on the topic. She started The Family Plot Blog (http://thefamilyplot.wordpress.com), a chipper online resource to provide the information, inspiration and tools to pre-plan a healing and meaningful funeral or memorial service. Her book and website http://AGoodGoodbye.com provide everything you never knew you needed to know about funeral planning.

If you miss the live broadcast, by Tuesday May 24, you can listen-on-demand to the archive anytime. For assistance with Internet radio, please see http://www.wsRadio.com/how-to-listen.cfm.

The host of the popular 8-year old program, Jacqueline Marcell, took care of her parents who had Alzheimer, compelling her to dedicate her life to eldercare awareness and reform. She is an international speaker and author of the best-selling book, “Elder Rage”, http://www.ElderRage.com.

Please forward this announcement to those who may have an interest – and if you would like to be a guest on the show, email Jacqueline Marcell at J.Marcell@cox.net for details.
