Analyst Comment on this Ongoing Process

Google executive chairman Eric Schmidt appeared at a congressional hearing today and defended his companies search practices.
I think he did a good job today, but he and all of Google should be aware that this is just the beginning.
Once the US Congress set’s their sites on a company, things get very sticky and they usually win.
Google should expect ongoing investigations and hearings and interruptions in their business over the next several years as this story develops.
We have watched this with AT&T and with Microsoft and others.
This story is not over. It is just getting started.
