Will Google and Motorola Be Approved by Regulators?

There is been quite a bit of banter back and forth today discussing this issue. Both sides are possible at this point.

On one hand Google should have no problem since Motorola is not a competitive issue at this time.

On the other hand Google is starting to get serious negative attention by regulators and no one knows what the company is in for in coming years.

So it all depends if regulators don’t like the idea and stand in the way.

We don’t know at this point, but it will be interesting to watch this unfold.

Ultimately I think the merger will occur, but it is really too early to tell.

One thing we do know is that this is just one of the first steps by Google as they enter and redefine the mobile space.
