In what may be one of the industries most surprising moves Meg Whitman revered the decision to spin off PC’s from HP. This news will be welcome news to HP customers and prospects.

HP has shaken up the industry with the original move to spin off this business. It damaged HP’s brand value. It hurt them with customers and investors.

This new move while good news won’t solve all those problems over night, but it is a great step in the right direction.
