One of the most popular procedures offered at the clinic is skin whitening. This can be achieved with different types of treatments at Privé Clinic, including Laser Glow Therapy, Cosmelan and Revlite.
Cosmelan is a depigmentation agent that decreases the melanin which is responsible for the darkening of the skin. In a multi-step procedure performed both at the clinic and then at home, the skin is first thoroughly cleansed before a yellow mustard color mask is applied for an average of 8 hours. This portion of the treatment is called Cosmelan 1. Once this is completed, the patient applies the Cosmelan 2 cream every day at home, while still under the care of the physician.

Dr Karen Soh graduated as a Raffles Top Scholar before going on to obtain a Bachelor of Medicine from National University of Singapore in 1997 and is extensively trained in botulinum toxin injections, dermal fillers, lasers and light therapies.
While on sabbatical in Philadelphia, USA, she developed an interest in anti-ageing medicine and received her training and certification from the American Board of Anti-Aging and Regenerative Medicine (ABAARM).
