Sacramento, CA -- (ReleaseWire) -- 06/19/2014 -- Artificial Grass Recyclers, announced today that it will be selling recycled artificial turf for 50 cents a square foot starting on Monday, June 23 and ending on Friday, June 28th in Sacramento. AGR's Sacramento location will be getting 200,000 square feet of recycled used turf that will be available for pennies on the dollar for one week only. The turf is located at 6241 Turner Road, Sacramento, CA 92829.
Sacramento has been one of the hardest hit areas during the current California drought. As we quickly approach the hot summer months, the need for water conservation will be at an all-time high. Replacing lawns with used artificial turf can help Sacramento and surrounding communities conserve more water. "55 gallons of water can be saved annually for every square foot of artificial grass that is installed in place of real grass," said Artificial Grass Recyclers National Manager Paul Porreca.
AGR is sensitive to the drought crisis and moving its recycled artificial grass to the Sacramento area in efforts to help supply an affordable solution to help out the local communities in their water conservation efforts. According to the State Water Resources Control Board, the Sacramento Valley has been the most successful in conserving water so far this year compared to all of the other water regions of California. But at 10 percent, Sacramento still falls short of the 20 percent goal that was set by Gov. Jerry Brown earlier this year.
About Artificial Grass Recyclers
AGR is an eco-friendly company whose mission statement is; “Save the Earth with Recycled Turf”. Their main goal is to redistribute recycled turf with the hope that it can be used in a more environmentally friendly and sustainable way.
About The Recycled Artificial Turf
The recycled used turf comes in 600 square foot rolls that are 10’ wide x 60’ in length. Each roll weighs 4000 lbs. The turf is recycled from professional, college and high school sports fields such as football fields, soccer fields and baseball fields. The recycled used turf might have some field markings that can be left alone, cut out or painted over. All used turf needs to be loaded in an open, heavy duty, dual axle trailer because of the weight limits. No truck beds will be loaded to transport the turf. AGR is a national turf company and only takes credit or debit transactions. No cash or checks allowed.
