Aviator Author Gives Children 3-8 Years Old Courage to Dream on Kickstarter

What legacy are you leaving for your children? Grandchildren? And children of the world?

San Francisco, CA -- (SBWIRE) -- 08/19/2014 -- In a world where children often are told in school and at home about their limits (“you can’t do that”, “you’ll never be that”, “you’re wrong”), author and aviator Nancy Hayssen is spreading the positive message in a soon to be released children’s book that dreams are possible when you have someone to believe in you.

Based off a real-life adventure of a 7 year old and her pilot father flying into South Africa, Ants in the Pants Nance children’s book instills hope and courage in children’s hearts to act upon our dreams. Filled with stunning illustrations, diverse characters and enriching learning, Ants in the Pants Nance 32-page children’s book is an interactive fun story encouraging the foundation of positive values for children 3-8 years old.

On a safari adventure, this playful rhyming story illustrated by visual artist and illustrator Henry Castro, and written by Nancy Hayssen takes the reader into see the wild animals, people, and beauty of Africa touching the hearts of all ages, instilling strong family values and friendships that promotes acceptance, compassion, kindness and unity of people of all walks of life.

The campaign has received significant support from Oscar screenwriter RainMan Barry Morrow. “There’s nothing like a great story to fuel the flight of imagination, and Ants in the Pants Nance is truly that ‘kickstarter’,” says Barry Morrow.

Parents, grandparents and people who care about instilling in the next generation courage and the importance of loving relationships can pledge anywhere from $1.00 on up to show their support. Gifts range from “I am courageous” coloring booklet to a scenic aerial adventure of the San Francisco Bay Area.

“Giving children the message of courage and loving friendships helps turn children into healthy productive adults with a good sense of self-esteem and contribution to the world,” says Nancy Hayssen.

Ants in the Pants Nance will run for 30 days on Kickstarter and end on September 17 with the goal of raising initial funds to publish and market the first book in the series.

If the goals are reached, one child will be granted the dream of becoming a pilot for the day.
