Bank of America Accepts 3 for 99 Charity as a Partner in Their Charitable Matching Gifts Program

Anaheim, CA -- (SBWIRE) -- 10/13/2014 -- 3 for 99 is pleased to announce acceptance into The Bank of America Charitable Foundation Matching Gifts program.

The Matching Gifts Program offers a chance for Bank of America employees to double contributions made to their favorite charitable organizations and thus improve their communities. Annually, the Bank of America Charitable Foundation provides more than $25 million in matching gifts on behalf of employee donations.

3 for 99 is the vision of Joe Debilio who was motivated to start a children’s charity after watching a young family friend lose her battle against Freidreich’s Ataxia, a little known life-shortening degenerative neuro-muscular disorder that affects about one in 50,000 people in the United States. When two other young people in Joe’s life were also afflicted with debilitating diseases, Joe’s charity evolved into 3 for 99, a charity that evenly divides an affordable $99 (or more) donation between three charities – Freidreich’s Ataxia, Duchenne’s Disease and Hemophilia. With just ONE CLICK, people can now donate to research to find a cure for three orphan diseases that are often overlooked by mainstream organizations.
