New Orleans, LA -- (ReleaseWire) -- 02/10/2014 -- Carlos Periu has just released a new lecture series on youth football safety design to prevent brain injuries due to high impact collisions. Awareness of concussions is the primary focus of this new series of lectures designed to reduce the total amount of brain injuries in youth football.
The first lecture will take place on the radio broadcast of Super stars in Business hosted by Tyronne Jacques. The first lecture is titled “what parents should know about football helmets.” This portion of the lecture will cover the proper head gear for kid from 6 to 14 years old, and how to determine the perfect fit.
Carlos Periu says that it is very important that parent pause for a moment before signing their kid up for tackle football to consider the long term risk of improper equipment.
“It appears that parents are ignoring the medical community warnings that hits to the head may affect their children for the rest of their lives. Is that not enough for the football community to rethink the issue of safety at the youth level?”
Carlos Periu went on to say that every weekend in the fall millions of kids take to the football field, instructed to hit their opponent, separate the ball from the ball carrier, and take on a warrior mentality. Kids who have not yet reached puberty, and are stilled tucked in at night by their parents will take to the football field without the security and proper instruction of a many certified adult coaches.
