"We were very excited to have Northwestern Mutual and Cheeriodicals visit our House," said Kim Kelly, Executive Director at Ronald McDonald House Ann Arbor. "We sincerely appreciate Northwestern Mutual Managing Partner Brad Seitzinger and his team for sponsoring the day of smiles. All of our families were thrilled to receive such special and fun gifts."

"It was our sincere pleasure to work with Northwestern Mutual to deliver smiles to every family at the most important house in Ann Arbor," said Gary Parisher, president of Cheeriodicals. "Nothing we do matters more than our efforts with families in need." The big green boxes of cheer are designed to include a variety of items to lift the spirits of the families staying at Ronald McDonald House. These specialty care boxes not only include snacks and edible items, but also an assortment of local and national magazines like People, Health and Hour Detroit.

"As a father of two, I can't imagine the heartache of seeing your child in pain as they battle childhood diseases," said Brad Seitzinger, managing partner, Northwestern Mutual - Troy office. "Our hope is that by giving these parents a Big Green Box of Cheer, we can show these families that we care about them and have them in our thoughts and prayers.

About Ronald McDonald House Ann Arbor
The Ronald McDonald Houses of Ann Arbor provide a home away from home for families with children requiring critical and essential medical care. The Houses provide families more than just a place to rest, but a place where they are able to be close to their ill child when they are needed the most. Over the years, their mission has remained the same while the need for services continues to grow. The Houses rely on the generosity of the local community and business owners to provide the necessary funds to continue day-to-day operations. The Ronald McDonald Houses of Ann Arbor have served more than 18,000 families since opening in 1985. Spearheaded by the Junior Service League (now the Junior League of Ann Arbor), the project jointly involved the JLAA, University of Michigan C.S. Mott Childrens Hospital and the local community. Originally able to accommodate 24 families each night, an expansion in 1992 increased that number to 29 families. With the 2011 opening of the Ronald McDonald House within C.S. Mott Childrens Hospital, the total number has increased even more, serving 41 families per night. For more information, visit www.rmh-annarbor.org
