Downers Grove, IL -- (SBWIRE) -- 09/11/2014 -- Naperville Bank & Trust has selected Chicago property maintenance coordinator Gary Olson as the volunteer of the month for September 2014. Olson has received a plaque in recognition of his accomplishments and will have an article written about his works.

Olson started coming to DuPage Symphony Orchestra concerts in 1998 and his passion for the orchestra quickly grew. Olson served on the board of directors for six years including serving as President. Gary has since continued to volunteer at most DSO concerts and many educational programs put on by the DSO.

Olson is also a member of the Rotary Club of Naperville / South. With the motto “Service Above Self” Olson is an active volunteer with the organization and in August helped coordinate and run the 18th Annual Rotary Ride in Naperville.

"The ride is a great fundraiser for the club. All of the money raised goes to local and international charities and ultimately benefits the community and the world.” explained Olson.
