CollectivID Announce Code Red Album Release Featuring Flagship Artists Black Prez and H*Wood

 

Los Angeles, CA -- (SBWIRE) -- 07/23/2014 -- Following the release of the first single “That 303,” Denver area music label CollectivID has announced the release date of its debut album entitled Code Red featuring flagship artists Black Prez and H*Wood. An extension of their recently released single, the new project is also "Dedicated to Colorful Colorado." Code Red will be available on iTunes Tuesday, September 16th.

Produced by Alton "DJ Five8" Coward and the label’s CEO and executive producer Taver Tor, Code Red features 10-tracks of high-energy and genuine hip hop content reminiscent of Lupe Fiasco, Talib Kweli and Kid Cudi. Written by lyricists Brandyn "H*Wood" Bordeaux & Josh "Black Prez" Madry, the album features guest appearances from vocalists Yasman Azimi & Molly Burnett.

Black Prez and H*Wood are undeniably two of the most notable artists on the Denver music scene. Collectively, they’ve gained thousands of loyal fans through their meaning music and transparent messages. Their follow up single, “Tonight” is slated to debut on September 16th.

In addition to the second single and upcoming album release, CollectivID will be hosting an official album release event which will feature an exclusive performance from Black Prez and H*Wood; September 9th at Epernay Lounge located downtown Denver. H*Wood also has a few shows lined up and will be performing July 24th at the Underground Music Showcase (Denver), July 26th opening for Radio Enemy at Casselmans (Denver), August 7th Denver Broncos Kick Off at Sports Authority Field (Denver) and August 23rd Higher Ground Music Festival (Denver).
