Colorado's Davey Coach Sales Donates New Bus to Project Sanctuary

Nonprofit to use bus for military family retreats in Colorado and beyond

Granby, CO -- (SBWIRE) -- 01/27/2015 -- Davey Coach Sales of Sedalia, CO, presented a brand new 2015 Van Terra by Turtle Top bus to Granby-based national nonprofit Project Sanctuary on Friday, January 23, at YMCA Snow Mountain Ranch in Granby.

In a prepared statement, Davey Coach owner Tom Davey said, "All of us here at Davey Coach Sales support our Veterans and their families through extraordinary organizations like Project Sanctuary. We wish Project Sanctuary many blessings [as they continue] making a difference with our returning Wounded Warriors that have given so much for our country."

"We are thankful for businesses and people that recognize the ongoing needs and sacrifices of our military families," said Heather Ehle, Project Sanctuary founder and CEO. "We are humbled by the generosity and patriotism of Tom Davey and Davey Coach Sales. And we are most grateful that our families will be safely transported during their therapeutic retreats."

The presentation was made as part of the kickoff off of Project Sanctuary's Retreat #63 for military families. With the conclusion of Retreat #62 in Utah on January 21, Project Sanctuary has now served over 500 military and veteran families.

The new bus is a donation valued at over $60,000 from Davey Coach Sales to Project Sanctuary in support of the military, veterans and their families that Project Sanctuary serves. The new vehicle will be used in the course of military family retreats hosted in Colorado and as part of Project Sanctuary's expansion of its retreat offerings in additional states, including Utah and California.
