Greenland - A New Frontier in Mining New Report
Greenland is a parliamentary democracy but with a constitutional monarchy, falling under the jurisdiction of the Kingdom of Denmark. Following the establishment of the Self-Government Act in June 2009, the country was given an option to take control of a total of 32 administrative functions which previously were in the hands of the Kingdom of Denmark, a key area of which was control over its natural resources, which includes both the oil and gas industry and minerals.
