Eyewear in Malaysia - New Market Study Published
Although Malaysia experienced slightly slower economic growth in 2013, eyewear enjoyed stronger value growth than during 2012 due to the rising incidence of myopia being identified among Malaysians, which is encouraging them to purchase eyewear as a corrective measure. In addition, various other reasons such as the prevailing weather conditions also motivated more Malaysian consumers and tourists to purchase eyewear products such as sunglasses for protection from UVA and UVB light.
