New Market Study Published: Pre-Paid Cards in Japan
E-money cards have established a solid position in financial cards in Japan for purchases less than JPY1,000. These are mostly used for train ticket purchases and at convenience stores; consumers have become accustomed to making tap-and-go payments at such locations.
