Now Available: Poland in 2030: The Future Demographic
Poland's population peaked in 2012 at 38.5 million. By 2030 it will reach 37.7 million, a decrease of 2.3% from 2012. Despite rising fertility, the birth rate will continue to fall due to a drop in the proportion of women of childbearing age in the population. The population is ageing and the median age will increase from 38.4 years in 2012 to 45.2 in 2030. Poland will age at a faster rate than the Eastern European average.
