"Dried Processed Food in the US" Now Available at Fast Market Research
Brown rice is becoming increasingly present in the American diet. Despite generally being less difficult to manufacture than white rice, brown rice sells at a premium for its health connotations. As of 2013, brown rice constituted just over 13% of retail volume and 22% of retail value sales of rice. These numbers are forecast to increase, as value sales grew by over 6% in 2013 and are expected to continuing growing through 2018.
