Recent Study: Imaging Devices in Morocco
Growth was decidedly negative across all imaging devices categories in 2013 as cameras remained the dominant imaging devices categories with 94% of total imaging devices retail volume sales. This is mainly due to the fact that cameras are generally perceived as functional and fashionable items among Moroccan consumers. Demand for camcorders, meanwhile, remained relatively limited in 2013 as camcorders are perceived as being much more expensive, much less convenient and generally unnecessary.
