New Market Report: Soft Drinks in Pakistan
Soft drinks continued to record healthy growth in 2013 as economic conditions in the country improved. Slightly higher GDP growth and increased spending power encouraged consumers to continue buying soft drinks. In addition, companies such as PepsiCo Inc. continued to promote their brands through TV ad campaigns and other promotional activities. However, frequent electricity cuts, rising fuel costs and increasing inflation affected the margins of manufacturers in 2013.
