With 3% volume and 5% current value growth in 2013, frozen processed food is expected to perform better than the CAGRs of 2% in volume and under 5% in current value terms recorded during the review period. The range of frozen processed food brands and types on offer is continuing to expand. Health-aware consumers, which is an expanding consumer segment, tend to prefer frozen to other food preservation methods.
