Baby Food in Kenya - New Market Study Published
Packaged baby food continued to be beyond the spending capacity of the majority of Kenyan consumers and demand for baby food is therefore accessible only to the country's middle-income and high-income consumers. Packaged baby food is often viewed as a status symbol and a luxury item by low-income Kenyan consumers. However, 2013 witnessed an increasing demand for baby food with the rising middle class in Kenya.
