Tissue and hygiene products are essential for everyday life and therefore the category remained popular despite the slow economic development in the country. Key drivers were toilet paper and kitchen towels where newly launched products offered more value for money for consumers and thus saw an increasing interest. Wipes saw also a significant value share increase as these products' usage increased in Slovak households due to easy usage, high effectiveness and low-prices.
