The eleven songs on the album cover topics ranging from murder and repentance, rattlesnake-handling churches, heartbreak, and old cars with a shady history. The album was recorded by engineer Floyd Badeaux, whose Port Arthur, Texas, studio once hosted a teen-aged Janis Joplin. Drummer Adam King, vocalist Douglas Greer, and renowned harp man Dan Moser perform on ONE BIRD, TWO STONES, with LeMasters providing the guitars, bass, and lead vocals.

LeMasters has performed primarily in Texas to date, although a European tour is being planned for 2015.
