Hornchurch, UK -- (SBWIRE) -- 03/25/2014 -- 'Jack Queen King' takes place during the ten minutes after a small crew return to the London apartment they are using as an operations base after carrying out a heist. It follows the story of Carly (the seductive mastermind), Jake (the hardened career criminal) and Neil (their naive accomplice) in the aftermath of their final job. When Neil and Jake return from the job, Carly already has passports, tickets and suitcases lined up by the door, ready to split the cash and run. However when Carly finds that their final haul isn't as large as expected she refuses to settle for less than what she's entitled to and will do anything to get her 'fair share' of the take.

Sam Prudence wrote 'Jack Queen King' because he had a desire to shoot a short film on location in London. He will be directing the short over two days, April 25th and 26th. Sam has funded equipment rental and covered logistical costs and put together a hard working, creative crew but needs your help to increase the films production value which means all pledges will be used to fund what’s seen on screen i.e. location, props and set dressing.

'Jack Queen King' will be Sam’s second short as Director, but his first credit as writer. His first short 'Old Dogs' was completed early last year for submission to the festival circuit, and has so far been included in the Palm Springs Shortsfest Film Market and is currently included in the final judging stage at the Rochester Film Festival, NY.
