Elmwood Park Zoo Announces Unique Opportunity to Hand-Feed Bison Starting This September

 

Norristown, PA -- (SBWIRE) -- 09/17/2014 -- Beginning this September, the Elmwood Park Zoo is excited to announce a unique opportunity of hand feeding the zoo’s bison. Families looking for fun things to do in Bucks County, PA can now spend a day at the zoo and take advantage of the last month of the giraffe feeding exhibit while being among the first to face the bison.

Individuals of all ages will have the chance to get face-to-face with the world’s largest land mammal on Monday, September 15. Open daily, feeding tickets can be purchased at the Elmwood Park Zoo admissions counter, or at the exhibit inside the zoo itself. Prices are $3 per person, and zookeepers will enforce children under the age of 12 to be accompanied by an adult.
