A current trend in fragrances is for young consumers to frequently change their favourite brand for a new one. Furthermore, young adult consumers in the higher income segment start to have more than one fragrance. These two factors influenced fragrances' growth in 2011. Traditionally, consumers maintained their favourite fragrance for life or at least a couple of years but this have been changing. Older generations still would not try different types of fragrances and have only one at a time.
