Some of the smaller categories in other dairy, such as fromage frais and quark or chilled and shelf-stable desserts, are expected to sprout from a low base in 2013. Previously marginal in importance, with just a few brands on shelves, it was enough that only 2-3 new brands were launched. In desserts, soy-based desserts made its first appearance in 2013.
