New Market Research Report: Other Dairy in Algeria
Value sales of other dairy grew by a strong 18% in current terms in 2013, boosted by increasing demand and unit price increases for chilled dairy-based desserts and cream. These two categories continue to generate high volume sales as chilled dairy-based desserts are offered at economy prices and cream is starting to be used in cooking. In parallel, there is little demand for fromage frais, which mainly appeals to children from middle- and upper-income families.
