New Report Available: Consumer Lending in Vietnam
In 2013, although Vietnam's economy showed some signs of recovery, such as lower inflation and a stronger property market, it continued to encounter many difficulties. For example, inflation remained high in the country. As a result, the majority of consumers tended to focus on essential groceries and reducing their budget for non-essentials such as housing and travelling. Therefore, the growth in consumer lending has slowed.
