Direct selling registered stronger current value growth in 2013 than in 2012, with the channel sustaining its popularity among consumers. Consumers remained reliant on direct selling for consumer healthcare products as the various direct sellers offered unique combinations that are not available in physical stores. Furthermore, the established presence of direct sellers such as Amway, Herbalife and Cosway already earned a strong consumer following over the review period.
