Spreads in Italy - New Study Released
Spreads is facing strong polarisation between consumers who are looking for lower-priced products, and therefore purchase private label products which combine good quality and ingredients with a more competitive price, and those who are looking for natural and healthy products, and are willing to spend slightly more. Overall, this is expected to result in modest growth in spreads in 2013, with retail volume and current value sales both increasing by 2%.
