As the changes in taxation in mid-2012 shook the whole of alcoholic beverages, consumers changed their consumption habits in order to adapt to more expensive products. Consumers are now looking for cheap products that they can easily afford. Also, they are no longer that interested in brands and the quality associated with a brand, and imported products are the least attractive because they are the most expensive. Consequently, local products have benefited.
