Recent Study: Traditional Toys and Games in Spain
Much in line with the situation the category witnessed since the crisis hit the Spanish economy, in 2013 traditional toys and games recorded a poor performance, with sales declining by 1% in current value terms. Spanish consumers still lacked the confidence they felt prior to the burst of the economic bubble in 2008. As a consequence they still showed a conservative attitude to spending, which dragged the performance of the category.
