Northbrook, IL -- (ReleaseWire) -- 04/01/2014 -- EMF Power has just secured a bid to help renovate a building at 1855 N. Sheffield Ave. The building is over a century old and will need a total rebuild from the inside out. It was used as a school for over half a century and was recently purchased by a developer who has chosen not to demolish it, but to restore it.
A project of this size will require lots of man hours, and a total screening and evaluation of every little nook and cranny. The developer plans to unveil this building as luxury condominiums, and as such everything needs to be perfect.
EMF has had projects of this nature before, but this time around the sentiment surrounding the building, its neighborhood, and its clear potential provides everyone the opportunity to prosper.
When faced with such a project several things of utmost importance will be on EMF’s agenda. First of all the cleanup and prep work will be on the docket. The building is in the process of being gutted, but one cannot simply go in and rip out all the lights. The process is rather tedious, but to ensure safety, and responsibility, all the electrical components and builds will be removed.
After the safe removal of all the electrical work, EMF will work with the developers to determine the layout and the best possible placement for all electrical work. Finally they will work to develop the final touches as this circus of renovation goes into full swing.
